CS-Cart 4 was al snel maar is nu nog sneller met het laden van producten en pagina's, dit is vooral te merken bij grote webshops met meerdere storefronts en/of een groot aantal producten en categorieën. Bij een ingewikkelde zoekopdracht die in de oudere versie 60 seconden of meer duurt, wordt deze nu binnen 5,5 seconden opgehaald. Het systeem bevat een eigen geheugen die herhaalde zoekopdrachten via het geheugen uitvoert en toont. Naast de snelheid zijn er ook nieuwe functies bijgekomen zoals, promoties op basis van verjaardagen, hogere veiligheidsstandaarden, een eigen blogsysteem, connectie met Madmimi en Mailchimp, betaalmethode afhankelijk van de verzendmethode en diverse kleine verbeteringen en veiligheidsupdates.
